BIOGRAPHY
Alan Morris is a contemporary classical music artist. Born in England in 1966, he studied music at the University of Cambridge and the University of Birmingham. He later went on to study composition with John Cage and Luciano Berio, and subsequently trained in orchestral conducting with Pierre Boulez.
Mr. Morris has served as both conductor and composer in residence at the Opéra de Lyon. He was subsequently appointed principal conductor of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, and later became principal conductor of the Orchestre de la Radio Suisse Romande. He was later named chief conductor of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande.
Mr. Morris has also served as principal conductor of the Orchestre de la Radio Suisse Romande. His subsequent appointments include positions as principal conductor of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and the Orchestre de la Radio Suisse Romande.
