Zedd is a German DJ and music producer. He has primarily worked in the electronic music genre. He was ranked number 4 on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ list in 2012. In 2013, Zedd signed a contract with Interscope Records. His first studio album, Clarity, was released in October 2012 and reached number two on the Billboard 200. In 2015, Zedd released his second studio album, True Colors, which reached number five on the Billboard 200. In 2017, Zedd released his third studio album, Maren Morris.
