The Wanted is a British pop music group formed in 2009. The group consists of five members: Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker, and Nathan Sykes. They signed with the music label Universal Music Group and released their first single, "All Time Low," in July 2010. Their second single, "Heart Vacancy," was released in October 2010 and reached second place on the UK singles chart. Their first studio album, "The Wanted," was released in October 2010 and reached number one on the UK albums chart. In 2012, they released their second studio album, "Battleground," which reached number five on the UK albums chart. In 2014, they released their third studio album, "Word of Mouth," which reached number nine on the UK albums chart. In 2019, they announced a pause in their career to pursue solo projects.
