Swedish House Mafia is a Swedish electronic music group composed of three members: Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. The group was formed in 2008 and achieved international success with hits such as "Don't You Worry Child" and "Save the World". Although they disbanded in 2013, they recently announced their comeback in 2018, much to the delight of their fans worldwide.
The musical style of Swedish House Mafia is primarily focused on progressive house, although they have also been influenced by other genres of electronic music. Their sound is characterized by dense and catchy rhythms, hypnotic melodies, and powerful lyrics.
Their live shows are known to be spectacular, featuring impressive visual effects, lighting displays, and pyrotechnics, all accompanied by their infectious music.
The group has won several awards throughout their career, including a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album, and has been nominated for several others.
