Steven Aoki is an American producer, DJ, and musician born on November 30, 1977, in Miami, Florida. He is the founder of the electronic music label Dim Mak Records, established in 1996. Aoki has released five studio albums, including Neon Future I (2014), Neon Future II (2015), and Neon Future III (2018). In 2012, he was ranked fifth on the Forbes list of the world's highest-paid DJs, with estimated annual earnings of $15 million.
Raised in Newport Beach, California, Aoki is the son of Rocky Aoki, the founder of Benihana, and Chizuru Kobayashi. He was married to Tiernan Cowling from 2008 to 2012. In 2017, he became engaged to Japanese model and actress Koko Komine, with whom he has a daughter born in 2019.
Steve Aoki was ranked fifth on the Forbes list of the world's highest-paid DJs in 2012, with estimated annual earnings of $15 million. He was ranked fourth in 2013 and sixth in 2014.
