Rush is a Canadian rock band formed in 1968 in Toronto, Ontario, originally consisting of guitarist Alex Lifeson, bassist and singer Geddy Lee, and drummer John Rutsey. Neil Peart replaced Rutsey after the band's first album, bringing both his virtuoso drumming talent and lyric-writing skills.
