Nicky Romero is a Dutch DJ and music producer known for his remixes of "Toulouse" by Nicky Romero and "I Could Be the One" by Avicii. He has also produced tracks for David Guetta, Tiësto, and Calvin Harris.
Nicky Romero was born on January 6, 1989, in Amerongen, the Netherlands. At the age of 14, he became interested in electronic music and quickly learned to play instruments. At 16, he began producing his own music and rapidly gained popularity. In 2007, he signed with Spinnin' Records and released his first single, "My Friend".
In 2012, Romero released his first album, "Nicky Romero," which reached second place on the Dutch charts. The album was led by the singles "Toulouse," "I Could Be the One," and "Legacy." In 2013, his second album "Protocol" was released and reached number one on the Dutch charts, with the singles "Symphonica," "I Could Be the One," and "Legacy."
In 2014, Nicky Romero released his third album, "Nicky Romero & Friends," which reached second place on the Dutch charts. The album was supported by the singles "Symphonica," "I Could Be the One," and "Nyana." In 2015, his fourth album "Nicky Romero & Friends 2" was released and reached number one on the Dutch charts, with the singles "Nyana," "Toulouse," and "I Could Be the One."
