Nick Rockwell is an American musician born on July 9, 1980 in New York. He grew up in Queens and began playing music at the age of 10. After studying jazz in college, he pursued his musical career by playing in various jazz clubs in New York. In 2004, he joined the rock band The Strokes as a drummer and participated in their album Angles (2011). Rockwell has also played with the rock bands Yeah Yeah Yeahs and TV on the Radio. In addition to his musical career, Rockwell is also an actor and has appeared in several films, including The Wrestler (2008) and It's Kind of a Funny Story (2010).
