BIOGRAPHY
Martin Solveig, born Martin Picandet on September 22, 1976, in Paris, is a French DJ, music producer, singer, and composer. Solveig began his career playing in Parisian clubs such as the Queen and the Red Light. He signed with the French label Mixture Stereophonic in 1998 and released his first album, "Sur la terre," in 2002. In 2006, he joined the English label Ed Banger Records and released his second album, "Hedonist." His third album, "C'est la vie," was released in 2008, and his fourth album, "Smash," was released in 2011.
Martin Solveig has also produced remixes for artists such as Madonna, Bob Sinclar, Dragonette, Mylène Farmer, Robbie Williams, and Depeche Mode. In 2010, he released the single "Hello," which reached number one on the singles charts in France and Belgium. In 2012, he released the single "Intoxicated," which was certified gold in France.
Martin Solveig was named DJ of the year at the "Victoires de la musique" in 2013. In 2016, he released his fifth album, "All Stars," and in 2018, he released his sixth album, "Sur la terre II."
