Martin Garrix, real name Martijn Gerard Garritsen, is a Dutch DJ, composer, and electronic music producer, born on May 14, 1996 in Amstelveen, Netherlands. He is mainly known for his track "Animals" released in 2013, which was an international success and propelled his career at the age of 17.
Martin Garrix has become a staple name in the electronic music world and has regularly been ranked among the world's best DJs by various rankings, including DJ Mag where he has been ranked number 1 on several occasions. His musical style mainly includes genres such as electro house, progressive house, and big room house.
In addition to "Animals", he has produced numerous other hits such as "In the Name of Love" in collaboration with Bebe Rexha, "Scared to Be Lonely" with Dua Lipa, and "Ocean" with Khalid. He has collaborated with many other famous artists and continues to perform at major electronic music festivals around the world.
