BIOGRAPHY
Loquat, also known as Kyle Wilson, is an American musician and producer born on June 13, 1981. Raised in San Francisco, he studied classical composition and piano at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He later went on to study electronic music at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2004, he co-founded the indie rock group Loquat with his collaborator and singer-songwriter friend Emily Anderson. The group has released four studio albums and one live album. In 2012, Loquat released his first solo album, Tied to a Star. He has also produced albums for other artists, including The Blow, John Vanderslice, and Thao Nguyen.
