Jason Derulo, whose real name is Jason Joel Desrouleaux, is an American R&B singer-songwriter. He was born in Miami, Florida on September 21, 1989. Always passionate about music, he wrote his first song at the age of eight and launched his professional career several years later.
Derulo released his first single, "Whatcha Say," in May 2009. The song quickly became a hit, reaching the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. He released his self-titled debut album in 2010 which included the single "In My Head." In 2011, he released his second album, "Future History," which included the hits "Don't Wanna Go Home" and "It Girl."
