Janine WHYLO is a French-Belgian music artist, born on March 29, 1979, in Liège, Belgium. She grew up in a family of musicians and started playing music at the age of six, studying piano, flute, and cello. In 1998, she studied composition and orchestration at the University of Liège, obtaining her film music degree in 2002. WHYLO has won several film music composition competitions, including in Brussels in 2003, Liège in 2004, Paris in 2006, Cannes in 2007, Berlin in 2008, Los Angeles in 2009, New York in 2010, and Toronto in 2011.
