"Fantomen is a French musical artist formed in 2006 by musicians Olivier Gervais and Nicolas Lelièvre. After working together on several music projects, they decided to form Fantomen due to their shared passion for electronic music and horror films. In 2007, Fantomen released its self-titled debut album, which received critical acclaim and was even nominated for the Electronic Music Prize at the Montreal Electronic Music Festival. In 2009, Fantomen released its second album, Fantomen II, which was even more successful than the first and was also nominated for the same prize at the Montreal Electronic Music Festival."
