Claude VonStroke, real name Barclay Crenshaw, is an American house and techno DJ and music producer, born on August 20, 1971 in Detroit, Michigan.
Claude VonStroke founded the label Dirtybird Records in 2005. His productions and remixes have been released on labels such as Planet E, Tresor, Warp, DFA, Fabric, Om Records, and Boysnoize Records.
In 2006, he released his first album, Beware of the Bird, which reached number 1 on the iTunes dance/electronica chart. In 2007, he released the single "The Whistler", which was ranked number 1 on the Billboard club chart and was included in the film xXx: Return of Xander Cage with Vin Diesel in 2017.
His second album, Bird Brain, was released in 2008, and was ranked number 1 on the iTunes dance/electronica chart. In 2009, he released the single "Vocal Chords", which was ranked number 1 on the Billboard club chart. In 2010, he released his third album, Dirtybird Players.
His fourth album, Urban Animal, was released in 2013, and was ranked number 1 on the iTunes dance/electronica chart. In 2014, he released the single "Dirtybird Allstars", which was ranked number 1 on the Billboard club chart. In 2015, he released his fifth album, Ghetto House Anthems.
In 2016, he released the single "Make It Funky", which was ranked number 1 on the Billboard club chart. In 2017, he released his sixth album, California.
