BIOGRAPHY
The group Real McCoy is an essential asset of the German music scene of the 90s. They became known mainly thanks to international hits like "Another Night" and "Run Away". Formed under the inspiration of DJ and producer Olaf Jeglitza (also known as O-Jay), this group made its mark with energetic tracks blending dance, techno, rap, and pop.
The adventure began in 1989 when Jeglitza, determined to launch a musical project, decided to collaborate with Patricia Petersen to create the group M.C. Sar & The Real McCoy. After two songs considered failures, they triumphed in 1993 with their single "Another Night". This track quickly made its way onto international radios, becoming very popular. The seats of M.C. Sar & The Real McCoy did not remain empty for long: the group later welcomed Vanessa Mason and Lisa Cork.
Despite transformations and changes of names, the group did not lose its ability to produce hits. In 1995, they simply became Real McCoy and continued their rise with the album "One More Time", which was certified platinum in the United States.
Today, although less present in the music scene, the group Real McCoy maintains a solid reputation and a loyal audience, gathering nostalgics of 90s pop.
