BIOGRAPHY
Pharao is a German music group that gained popularity during the 90s. They are known for their Eurodance genre, which consists of a fusion of electronic and dance-pop versions. Pharao was founded by the duo of producers Alexander Hawking and DJ Stevie Steve, who both worked with many well-established figures in the electronic music industry.
The group consists of singer Kyra Pharao and rapper Deon Blue. Their song "I Show You Secrets" became a major success in several European countries shortly after its release. Their debut self-titled album, "Pharao", was released in 1994 and reached the top 20 in several countries.
The following year, in 1995, the group members decided to pursue solo careers. However, this did not last long and they came back in 1997 with their second album, "The Return". Unfortunately, this album did not achieve the same success as the previous one and led to the group's dissolution.
Despite their breakup, Pharao remains a memorable example of the Eurodance scene of the 90s. Their unique and captivating sound is still appreciated by many electronic music fans around the world.
