BIOGRAPHY
La Bouche is a German eurodance duo that achieved international success in the 1990s, particularly with the single "Be My Lover", which topped the charts in several countries. The group was formed in 1994 by German producer Frank Farian and included American singer Melanie Thornton and German-Turkish rapper Lane McCray. In addition to "Be My Lover", La Bouche had major hits with songs like "Sweet Dreams", "Fallin' in Love", and "I Love to Love". Unfortunately, La Bouche's career was tragically cut short when Thornton died in a plane crash in 2001. However, McCray continues to perform under the name La Bouche, with various singers replacing Thornton.
