Starship is an American rock band that was formed in San Francisco in 1984. The band's debut album, Knee Deep in the Hoopla, came out in 1985 and included the popular songs "We Built This City" and "Sara". Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Starship continued to release successful albums such as No Protection (1987), Love Among the Cannibals (1989), and Atomic (1990). Their most recent album, Loveless Fascination, was released in 2008.
