BIOGRAPHY
Rockwell is an American singer and musician born on February 15, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan. He began his music career by playing guitar and singing in clubs in Detroit. In 1984, he signed a record deal with Motown and released his first album, Somebody's Watching Me, in 1985. The album reached number two on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum. Rockwell went on to release two more albums, Freedom (1988) and Character (1991), before leaving Motown in 1992. After a break in his career, he returned in 2001 with the album The Truth, which was certified gold. Rockwell then released two independent albums, Timeless (2004) and Human Emotion (2010).
