BIOGRAPHY
Patrick Juvet is a French music artist. He was born on August 11, 1950 in Montreux, Switzerland. He grew up in a family of musicians. His mother was a singer and his father was a trumpeter. Juvet began his career playing the trumpet in a jazz orchestra. In 1969, he was discovered by Swiss producer Claude Nobs and recorded his first album, "La Musique".
In 1973, Juvet signed a contract with the French label CBS Records and released his first single, "Où sont les femmes?", which became a hit in France. He then released several other singles and albums, including "I Love America" in 1974, which became his biggest success. In 1975, Juvet represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Où sont les femmes?", which finished in third place. He later represented Switzerland again in 1982 with the song "Je vais me marier, Marie".
Juvet continued to release albums and singles throughout the 1980s and 1990s, but did not achieve the same success as in the early years of his career. In 2000, he released a cover album, "Les Plus Belles Chansons de Patrick Juvet", which was well received by critics. Juvet also appeared in several films, including Wim Wenders' "The American Friend" (1977) and Claude Lelouch's "Les Uns et les Autres" (1981). In 2014, he was inducted into the French Music Hall of Fame.
