Mylene Farmer is a French singer born on September 12, 1961 in Pierrefonds, Val-d'Oise.
Her real name is Mylène Gautier, she began her career in 1982 by signing a contract with producer Laurent Boutonnat. She released her first single, "Maman a tort", in March 1984.
