"Greg Kihn Band is an American rock band formed in 1972 in San Francisco, California. It consists of Greg Kihn (lead vocals, guitar), Steve Wright (guitar), Dave Carpender (keyboards), Johnny Ciambotti (bass) and Bruce Conte (drums). The band experienced success in the 1980s with songs such as 'The Breakup Song (They Don't Write 'Em)' and 'Jeopardy,' both of which reached the Top 40 of the US charts. They also made an appearance in the dance club scene of the 1983 film 'The Breakfast Club'."
