Hurts ist ein Elektronik-Musik-Duo aus Manchester, England. Es besteht aus Theo Hutchcraft (Gesang, Komposition) und Adam Anderson (Gitarre, Komposition). Das Duo formierte sich 2009 und veröffentlichte sein erstes Album, "Happiness", 2010. Das Album war in Europa sehr erfolgreich und erreichte Platz 1 der Charts in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz. 2011 veröffentlichten sie ihr zweites Album, "Exile", das Platz 2 in Deutschland und Platz 3 in Österreich erreichte. 2013 veröffentlichte Hurts sein drittes Album, "Intoxicated", das Platz 4 der Albumcharts in Deutschland belegte. 2016 erreichte ihr viertes Album, "Surrender", Platz 2 der Albumcharts in Deutschland. 2019 belegte ihr fünftes Album, "Desire", Platz 1 der Albumcharts in Deutschland. Die Gruppe hatte auch Erfolg mit mehreren Singles wie "Wonderful Life", "Stay", "Somebody to Die For" und "All I Wanna Do".
