Björn Akesson ist ein schwedischer Trance-Musiker, DJ und Produzent, geboren am 28. Juni 1985 in Stockholm. Mit 8 Jahren begann Akesson klassisches Klavier zu spielen und entdeckte im Alter von 12 Jahren die Trance-Musik, was ihn dazu veranlasste, seine eigenen Tracks zu produzieren. 2006 unterzeichnete er einen Vertrag beim schwedischen Label Anjunabeats und veröffentlichte seine erste Single "Perfect Blue". Seitdem hat er mehrere Singles und Alben veröffentlicht und in Clubs und Festivals auf der ganzen Welt gespielt. Akesson ist für seine melodischen und atmosphärischen Produktionen bekannt und wurde mit Künstlern wie Tiësto, Armin van Buuren und Ferry Corsten verglichen. 2012 wurde er auf Platz 24 des Trance Addict Top 100 DJs gewählt. 2013 belegte er Platz 22 im Top 100 DJs der Trance Podium.
