"Hypertrophie" ist eine französische Musikgruppe, die 1997 gegründet wurde. Die Gruppe besteht aus fünf Mitgliedern: Pascal (Gesang, Gitarre), Jérôme (Gitarre), David (Bass), Thomas (Schlagzeug) und Nicolas (Keyboard). Hypertrophie hat vier Studioalben veröffentlicht: "Hypertrophie" (1997), "Second Nature" (2000), "The Will to Power" (2003) und "The Aftermath" (2006). Die Gruppe hat auch zwei Live-Alben veröffentlicht: "Live in Paris" (2001) und "Live in Tokyo" (2004). Hypertrophie wurde 2002 und 2003 für zwei Grammy Awards nominiert.
