Ron, de son vrai nom Rosalino Cellamare, est un auteur-compositeur-interprète italien né le 13 août 1953 à Dorno, dans la province de Pavie. Sa carrière musicale a débuté dans les années 1970, et il est devenu une figure emblématique de la musique italienne, surtout reconnu pour sa voix chaude et ses textes poétiques. Dès le début, Ron s'est distingué par sa capacité à fusionner des éléments de la musique folk avec la tradition de la chanson d’auteur italienne. Il a commencé à se faire un nom avec des chansons qui parlent souvent de thèmes sociaux, de l'amour et de la condition humaine, tout en explorant des arrangements musicaux variés. Parmi ses chansons les plus célèbres, on trouve "Una città per cantare", qui est une adaptation de "The Road" de Jackson Browne, et "Joe Temerario", tous deux devenus des classiques de la musique italienne. Au fil des années, Ron a collaboré avec de nombreux artistes renommés, tant sur scène qu'en studio, ce qui a enrichi sa musique de diverses influences et lui a permis de rester pertinent dans le paysage musical italien. En plus de sa carrière en solo, Ron s’est impliqué dans divers projets collaboratifs et a participé à plusieurs reprises au Festival de Sanremo, une vitrine importante pour les musiciens italiens. Son engagement envers des causes sociales s’est également manifesté à travers sa musique, ce qui a renforcé son lien avec son public. Au-delà de la musique, Ron est également connu pour son engagement dans des causes humanitaires et son implication dans des initiatives de sensibilisation sociale.
