Nera, née le 11 mars 1988, est une chanteuse, auteure-compositrice et rappeuse italienne. Née à Rome, en Italie, d'un père italien et d'une mère éthiopienne, elle a grandi dans le quartier de San Lorenzo à Rome. Elle a débuté sa carrière de rappeuse et a sorti son premier album, Nero, en 2010. Elle a depuis publié deux autres albums, Rosso et Blu. La musique de Nera est un mélange de hip hop, R&B et pop. Elle a été comparée à des artistes tels que Rihanna, Nicki Minaj et Beyoncé.
