"Lichtenfels est un groupe de musique allemand originaire de la ville du même nom, en Bavière. Le groupe a été formé en 1987 et a sorti huit albums studio à ce jour. Lichtenfels a connu un succès commercial avec son album "Unter die Haut", qui a atteint la première place des classements allemands en 2003. Le groupe a également été nominé pour deux prix allemands Grammy Awards."
